Colorful with flowers in spring, deep green in summer, and occasionally snow-dusted in winter, the area offers numerous activities and charming villages. Head to SkyHigh atop Mount Dandenong for views back to Melbourne. Stop and smell the flowers at the National Rhododendron Gardens or hike through dense stands of soaring mountain ash trees in Sherbrooke Forest. Wander around the shops and galleries in Olinda, Belgrave, and Sassafras. If you want to spend a night or two, reserve a cottage or guesthouse nestled in the woods near one of the area’s friendly towns
Ride on Puffing Billy Steam Train (Train Fare included in package). Take a ride back to a bygone era on Puffing Billy Railway. One of the world’s best-preserved steam railways takes you 25.1 km (15.6 mi) from Belgrave to Gembrook, through the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. The open-sided carriages of this century-old steam train deliver unobstructed views of the surrounding emerald temperate forest. Although the line is relatively short, the ride moves at a leisurely pace, leaving you plenty of time to soak in the scenery

Drive to Mount Buller. Mount Buller is a town located in the Shire of Mansfield in the Alpine region of the Australian state of Victoria. All facilities are still operational, with the cinema, gym and sports hall open all year round.
